If you want to keep and/or exhibit animals in a zoo, zoological garden, animal park, zoological garden or similar facility, you must apply for a permit from your competent authority before taking up the activity. The competent authority will decide on a case-by-case basis whether you are granted permission. You may only commence the activity once you have received the permit
