You can use the Internet Status Information (ISA) to access information online about your temporary custody applications.
For goods that you have brought into the customs territory of the Union, you must submit a declaration for temporary storage at the latest at the time of presentation. This is done via the ATLAS sub-procedure Summarised declaration (SumA) at the customs offices. SumA is used at all sea and airport customs offices as well as inland and border customs offices.
You can use the Internet Status Information (ISA) to call up information about your SumA processes online and check the processing status of the individual items. You can also have the data output in structured form and process it further in your system.
To use the ISA, you submit an informal application to your responsible customs office and name a responsible person. To prove your eligibility, you must identify yourself with your EU-wide economic operator registration and identification number (EORI number). The responsible person is created by the customs office for your EORI number as an administrator and can thus set up further accesses with their own password to your EORI number via the ISA participant administration.
Registration is required in accordance with Article 9 of the Union Customs Code. Within the framework of this, the EORI number is assigned.
You can only use the SumA information system if you also submit declarations for temporary storage via ATLAS-SumA.
To access the Internet Status Information online, proceed as follows:
- Call up the Internet Status Information (ISA) and log in with your user name and password.
- If you are not yet registered, contact your local customs office. There you can register for participation in the Internet Status Information Service by submitting an informal application. You will then receive a user name and password from your customs office.
- You can then view the SumA data of all customs offices for your EORI number, regardless of where you have registered.

- The declaration used to be called the "summary declaration" (SumA), but was renamed in the Union Customs Code to avoid confusion with the entry or exit summary declaration.
- After goods are brought into the customs territory of the Union, a temporary storage declaration must be lodged at the latest when the goods are presented to customs, unless a customs declaration is already lodged at that time.
