If you are looking for a job, apprenticeship or traineeship in Germany or another European country, or if you are a company looking to recruit European workers, the EURES Network advisers can support you by providing information and advice.
Are you looking for work in another European country? The EURES Network advisers can answer your questions on job mobility in Europe. Do you need help to fill vacant posts? EURES is your gateway to the European job applicant market.
EURES provides the following services for job applicants:
- online publication of lists of job applicants on the EURES portal,
- Europe-wide recruitment fairs,
- online recruitment,
- information on living and working in other European countries,
- support and advice for your job search and application,
- individual advice,
- details of financial support available,
- referrals to other sources of advice.
EURES provides the following services for companies:
- online publication of job listings on the EURES portal,
- online recruitment,
- information on recruitment and job applicants in other European countries,
- support for applicant selection procedures,
- information on the financial support available and supporting bodies.
EURES offers a range of specialist support services in border regions for cross-border workers and companies, including:
- providing advice in German and in the national language of the neighbouring countries, particu on social security issues,
- providing job placement services in the border region
EURES services are free for those seeking advice. Employer-focused EURES services provided by the Federal Employment Agency are also free of charge.
For the processing of enquiries made via the Make it in Germany information portal, the standard duration for replies to email enquiries is 48 hours. Processing times may be longer during periods of high demand, or if the enquiries concerned are particularly complicated.
Advice-seekers and companies can decide, together with their EURES adviser, on how long they will use the EURES service for.
