Are you involved in administrative proceedings with the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) and need access to your procedural documents? Then you can apply to the EBA for access to your files.
If you are involved in an administrative procedure either directly or as an authorized representative and would like to inspect the documents of the original procedure, for example to substantiate your objection, you can request this from the Federal Railway Authority (EBA). The EBA will provide you with the requested procedural documents in electronic form via the e-Service portal. There you can view, download and save the PDF documents for one month.
The EBA can only reject your application in whole or in part in exceptional cases.
- You are involved in proceedings or authorized to do so.
- Knowledge of the files is required to assert or defend your legal interests.
You can request electronic file access via an online service (e.g. IFG form on the federal portal) and by e-mail, De-Mail, post or fax:
Provision via online service (e-Service "Electronic file inspection"):
- You have received an e-mail informing you that the requested documents (PDF files) have been made available to you in the "Electronic file inspection" e-Service, provided there are no legal reasons to the contrary.
- Go to the EBA e-Service portal.
- Authenticate yourself with your user account (ELSTER company account or BundID).
- You can access the documents for one month. You can also download the document during this time.
Request by e-mail, De-Mail, post or fax:
- Write an informal e-mail or De-Mail to the EBA or send an informal letter, dated and signed if possible, by post or fax to the EBA.
- The EBA will provide you with the requested files as PDF files in the e-Service portal as described above, provided there are no legal reasons to the contrary.
- Objection
- You can lodge an appeal against the decision on the merits, but not against the refusal of access to the file.
