If you are a member of a Chamber of Crafts and the personal or business-related data collected there changes, you must notify the Chamber of Crafts.

The Chamber of Crafts and Crafts keeps two registers, the Register of Craftsmen and the Register of the Owners of a Business of a Craft Exempt from a Licence or a Craft-Like Trade, in which all craft businesses and businesses of the craft-like trade in the respective Chamber district are recorded. In order to keep the stored data up-to-date, there is an obligation to notify in the event of changes, which includes the following cases:

• changes of address of the farmer(s) or the permanent establishment;
• changes in the number of permanent establishments,
• changed electronic contact details such as (mobile) telephone and fax numbers or e-mail addresses,
• Changes in personal information about shareholders,
• Changes in the number of persons authorized to represent companies.
   

• Information about the company:
  • Company number
  • Company name
  • If applicable, the date of entry into force of the data change
• Information on the type of data change (e.g. contact details and addresses as well as other data on persons and business premises)
   

Business-related data stored by the Chamber of Crafts and Crafts has changed, in particular:

• Address and contact details of the company or a permanent establishment
• Registration or deletion of a permanent establishment
• personal data of the owner
• Data of the management or the shareholders

Inform your Chamber of Crafts about a change in personal or business-related data relevant to registration. Notifications of changes may be made in writing or electronically.

• Businesses in the craft sector subject to authorisation are recorded in the register of craftsmen, while those in crafts or crafts-like trades that do not require a licence are recorded in the register of owners of a craft business without a licence or a craft-like trade.
• The register of craftsmen and the register of the owners of a business, a craft without a licence or a craft-like trade are kept by the regionally competent chambers of crafts.
• The registers kept by the Chambers of Crafts and Crafts store, among other things, personal data of the entrepreneur(s) as well as data on the business, whereby a distinction is made according to whether it is a sole proprietorship, a partnership or a corporation.
• If there are any changes in data that must be registered, such as addresses or electronic contact details, this must be reported to the relevant Chamber of Crafts.
• Notification of changes to the data must be made, among other things, if:
  • address data of sole proprietorships, partnerships or corporations as well as registered permanent establishments change,
  • electronic contact details (e.g. telephone number, e-mail address) change,
  • information on authorised representatives and shareholders changes,
  • a permanent establishment is to be deleted or another permanent establishment is to be entered
• Responsible: Chamber of Crafts in whose district the main commercial establishment is located.
