If you as a person wish to catch eels for commercial purposes, you must first register with the competent authority. The competent authority registers persons who catch eels for commercial purposes under a registration number in the fishing register.
- They register the eel fishery with the competent authority before commencing their activities.
- You specify whether you are fishing in coastal or inland waters and delimit the fishing area.
- The notification is informal and registration takes place after you have submitted the formal application to the competent authority.
