If the deadline expires, an extension of the deadline must be applied for, which must be adequately justified.
In the case of measures that are subject to approval by the forestry authority, the approval expires on expiry of the deadline set for implementation.
There may be a variety of reasons why the measure has not been implemented by the set deadline. If the deadline expires and the measure is nevertheless to be implemented, an extension of the deadline must be applied for, which must be sufficiently justified.
The deadline can only be extended before the original deadline expires.
Informal application, which must contain at least the following information:
- Personal details (name, address, contact)
- Type of procedure
- File or reference number of the decision to which the requested deadline extension relates
- Reasons why the deadline should be extended
After submitting an extension of the deadline, the forestry authority checks whether the conditions for approval of the measure still apply. If the requirements are still met, the forestry authority issues an amendment notice in which the new deadline is announced. If this is not the case, the forestry authority can either reject the application or add further ancillary provisions.
