You can apply for a no-stopping zone for the duration of your move. This allows you to conveniently load and unload in front of your old and new home.
Without prior permission, you may not reserve parking spaces on public roads without authorization, for example by placing garbage cans.
Other road users do not have to respect unauthorized reservations.
If there is an absolute ban on stopping in the area in front of the planned loading and unloading zone, you must apply for a special permit to be allowed to park there.
In areas with a restricted stopping ban, on the other hand, you may load and unload if this is done without delay.
You can apply to the competent authority for a no-stopping zone.
The competent authority will issue you with an order after you have submitted your application. This contains information on how you must mark the area in question. You may only erect the relevant traffic signs once you have received the order.
If vehicles are parked in the no stopping zone on the day of the move despite the signs being up and are obstructing your move, you can have the vehicles towed away.
The towing costs must be borne by the vehicle owners. As a rule, however, you will have to pay in advance.
