Would you like to strengthen your family structures in a pleasant environment? Find out about family recreation measures with educational offers.

The state of Saxony-Anhalt promotes participation in family recreation measures with educational offers. This is primarily intended to support families who receive social welfare or citizen's allowance or have a low income. It does not matter whether you are married or a single parent.

You can take part in these measures as a family to strengthen your family relationships. You will also be introduced to social and health-promoting lifestyles. The aim of the program is to teach you how to structure your everyday life better.

The measures last between 2 and 14 days. At least 8 families take part in the program at the same time. You will be assigned a contact person for the entire period. You can also get in touch with this contact person after your vacation.

• Proof of your income
• Child benefit certificate
• Proof of insurance
• rental agreement
• Notice of housing benefit
• Proof of maintenance
• Proof of charges (Only for house and apartment owners)

You can find out which documents are required in addition to these from the respective institution.

• You have at least 1 child for whom you also receive child benefit
• You live in Saxony-Anhalt

There are small costs for you to participate in family recreation measures. You can find out how much these are directly from the provider. You must also pay the fees there.

You can apply for a course at any time.

To ensure that you can take part in a measure promptly next year, you should register in the fall at the latest.

You can obtain information from the State Administration Office (State Youth Welfare Office).

The following institutions can also provide you with information on the measures:

• Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Familienverbände Sachsen-Anhalt (LAGF),
• the family associations,
• the family holiday centers.
