If you operate a biological waste treatment plant, you must continuously determine, record and evaluate the air pollutant emissions for certain air pollutants by means of continuous measurements.

If you are the operator of a biological waste treatment plant, you must continuously determine, record and evaluate the air pollutant emissions for certain air pollutants by means of continuous measurements with special measuring devices.

You must prepare a measurement report on the evaluation of the measurements and send it to the immission control authority responsible for you within certain deadlines.

Complete measurement report

• You are the operator of a plant for the biological treatment of waste.
• You have put your plant into operation.

• You evaluate the measurements.
• You create a measurement report.
• You send the measurement report to the responsible immission control authority within the prescribed period.

• You must submit the measurement report to the responsible immission control authority within 3 months of the end of each calendar year.
• You must keep the records of the measuring devices for at least 5 years after preparing the measurement report.

You are committing an administrative offense if you:

• do not evaluate measurements, do not evaluate them correctly or do not evaluate them completely,
• do not submit the measurement report on time,
• do not keep the records of the measuring devices used for at least 5 years after the measurement report has been drawn up.
