If you process or process, store or trade wine or grape must on a commercial basis, you are obliged to report your wine and grape must stocks to the competent authority.

If you process or process, store or trade wine or grape must on a commercial basis, you must declare your stocks from 31/07 of the respective year to the competent authority.

Under certain conditions, the reporting obligation does not apply.

Form

• They store, process or trade wine or grape must on a commercial basis. The following must be reported:
  • holdings recorded in the vineyard register,
  • companies that produce wine and grape must for sale,
  • undertakings engaged in the wholesale sale of wine and grape must,
  • Sparkling wine production companies (sparkling wine cellars).
• As of 31.07. of the respective year, they have a wine stock of at least 10,000 liters.

There are no costs.

You must submit the notification no later than 10/08 of each year.

• Notification of wine and grape must stocks Receipt
• Stocks of wine and grape must on/from 31.07. of the respective year must be reported to the competent state authorities
• The notification must be made by 10/09 of the respective year at the latest
• The following must be reported:
  • holdings recorded in the vineyard register,
  • companies that produce wine and grape must for sale,
  • undertakings engaged in the wholesale sale of wine and grape must,
  • Sparkling wine production companies (sparkling wine cellars)
• Exception: Stock is below 10,000 litres as of 31.07. of the respective year
• Required: Form from the competent authority
• Notification possible online in some countries
• Notification is free of charge
