§ 15 paragraph 1 - 3 and 5 Federal Hunting Act (BJagdG)

If the validity of your falconry hunting license expires or has already expired and you wish to continue hunting, you must have it renewed.

If you want to practice falconry in Germany, you need a German falconry hunting license in your name. If you are already in possession of a German annual hunting license, but its validity has expired, you can apply for an extension.

The annual hunting license is valid for a maximum of three consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01.04. and ends on 31.03..
