§ Section 15 (1) - (3), (5) and (7) of the Federal Hunting Act (BJagdG)

If you want to hunt with raptors or falcons, you must have a falconry hunting license in your name. You can apply for an annual hunting license under certain conditions.

If you would like to hunt with griffins or falcons in Germany, the so-called Beizjagd, you will need a German falconry hunting license in your name. You can apply for this as an annual hunting license.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, complete it and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a falconry license.

The annual hunting license is valid for a maximum of three consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01.04. and ends on 31.03..
