If you wish to set off fireworks with pyrotechnic objects, you must notify the competent authority. You will need an official certificate of competence for this.

You must notify us before you are allowed to set off pyrotechnic fireworks. You can make use of this service if the intended pyrotechnic articles are of category F2, F3, F4, P1, P2, T1 or T2. In the vicinity of buildings or installations that are particularly sensitive to fire, fireworks may only be set off at a sufficient distance and taking into account the direction of the wind. The burning of pyrotechnic objects in the immediate vicinity of churches, hospitals, kindergartens and old people's homes, as well as half-timbered houses, is prohibited. It should be noted that a display can only be made under certain conditions.

Proof of the certificate of competence and/or proof of the permit

You must have a certificate of competence and/or a permit from an authority in order to be allowed to display pyrotechnic articles.

There are no costs.

To file a complaint, you must state the facts of the case in writing. You do not need a form for this.

• There will be no feedback after a successful review.

• Categories F3, F4, P1, P2, T1 and T2 all year round

Notification period of 4 weeks before setting off pyrotechnic articles in the immediate vicinity of railroad installations, airports or federal waterways that are shipping lanes.
