Do you have an EU Community license for international occasional transport that is due to expire? Then you need to apply for an extension.
If you have an EU Community license for cross-border occasional transport within the European Union (EU), you must have it renewed after 10 years at the latest. In doing so, you must prove that you still meet the relevant conditions.
Occasional services include
- Excursion trips
- Vacation trips
- Trips with rental buses
The journey must be carried out with motor vehicles that are suitable and intended for the transportation of more than 9 persons, including the driver, according to their design and equipment.
- You have a permit for passenger transportation by bus in Germany.
- You comply with all legal requirements for buses and drivers, for example:
- Speed limiters
- Compliance with the permitted dimensions
- Compliance with the permissible weight
- Qualification of the drivers
- Compliance with driving and rest periods
