Wills, joint wills and contracts of inheritance (so-called dispositions by reason of death) must be opened by the probate court after death in order to be able to comply with the last will of the deceased.
If the deceased left a will or a contract of inheritance and this document is not in official custody but in your possession, you are obliged to deliver it to the probate court.
The court may notify the parties involved in writing of the contents of the disposition of property upon death concerning them or set a date for its opening.

To deliver the will or the inheritance contract, use the form prescribed for this purpose. You can hand it in personally at the court or send it by post.
You must deliver the will or inheritance contract to the probate court immediately after you learn of the death.
