Lehrerbildungsabschlüsse an Hoch- und Fachschulen der DDR, Anerkennung beantragen

• Beschluss der Kultusministerkonferenz über die "Gegenseitige Anerkennung von Lehramtsprüfungen und Lehramtsbefähigungen" vom 22.10.1999 (Beschluss von Husum)

Educational and vocational qualifications or certificates of competence acquired or state-recognised in the GDR continue to be valid in the Free State of Saxony. Upon request, the Landesamt für Schule und Bildung (State Office for Schools and Education) will issue a certificate of evaluation for teacher training qualifications obtained at universities and technical colleges.

The application for a certificate must be accompanied by the following documents:

• officially certified copies or transcripts of the complete final documents (e.g. certificate and diploma) to be assessed
• a certified copy of the leaving certificate from the general school
• in the event of a change of name, proof thereof
• a complete curriculum vitae in tabular form, signed in your own hand, with details of your school education and vocational training
• if applicable, proof of professional activity up to admission to the educational institution whose qualification is to be subjected to the equivalence assessment
