Application for a subordinated loan in conjunction with a grant from the federal special-purpose fund

Agricultural start-ups in the early financing phase can apply to Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank for a subordinated loan in combination with an innovation voucher. Rentenbank extends the combination of promotional loan and grant on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. The promotional funds come from the federal government's special-purpose assets at Rentenbank.

Eligible for funding are agricultural start-ups with an innovative business idea in the early financing phase. The aim is to increase the innovation and competitiveness of the agricultural sector.

• up to EUR 800,000
• Terms of two to ten years
• ten percent own funds required

Grant

• up to 90 % for necessary expenses for advisory services
• limited to 15 % of the loan amount, maximum EUR 50,000

Eligible applicants

• which are not listed on the stock exchange,
• up to five years after foundation
