If you, as a specialised company, wish to carry out activities in which asbestos dust or dust from materials containing asbestos is released or may be released (demolition, renovation and maintenance work with asbestos), you must notify these activities as a tradesperson seven days before the start of the work.

As a specialist company, you need employees with a certificate of competence.
This certificate of competence requires successful participation in an officially recognised training course. The certificate of competence is then valid for six years. During the work, it must be ensured that at least one competent person authorised to issue instructions is working on site. - As a specialised company, you need the technical equipment in accordance with TRGS 519
- for work with weakly bound asbestos, you need a licence as a specialist company
You must notify us in writing of any intended activities involving materials containing asbestos. You can obtain the prescribed form from the "Hazardous substances" website of the Saxony Labour Protection Administration linked under "Further information" or from the forms and downloads page of the Saxony State Directorate.
