The semester fee includes Fees for the semester ticket, the student union and for the student body. Re-registration for the next semester at the respective university takes place by paying the respective semester fee.
The semester fee is a contribution to be paid by the students, which finances, for example, the interests of the student body and the Studierendenwerk, such as the canteen, halls of residence, childcare services, etc. It is made up of a contribution to administrative costs, the contribution to the Studierendenwerk, the general student body contribution, a contribution to accident, liability and theft insurance and a contribution for the semester ticket.
