If you are transporting more than 60 liters of a non-bottled wine product, you need a wine accompanying document for each transport.
You require a wine accompanying document for the transportation of wine products that have not been bottled.
Wine products are
- Grapes,
- grape must,
- mash,
- wine,
- sparkling wine,
- sparkling wine,
- liqueur wine and
- fortified wine.
The accompanying document entitles you to transport the wine products from the producer to the further processing or recovery point, for example to a winery. You are obliged to use an accompanying document.
As a winegrower, grape producer, cooperative or recognized producer group that accepts grapes or mash, with the exception of full-delivery member companies of a cooperative or recognized producer group, you are obliged to report if
- they transport non-bottled wine products of more than 60 liters.
- you transport wine-growing products in labeled containers of more than 10 liters that are fitted with a non-reusable closure.
- the transportation route of wine products
- from the vineyard to the wine-making plant,
- between two plants belonging to the same company,
- between the facilities of a producers' association
is more than 70 km.
You must declare the wine accompanying document in writing. For this purpose, you will receive a carbon copy form with three copies from the responsible office. You fill out the form accordingly and give the original to the wine transport company, one copy is sent to the consignor, two copies are sent to the competent authority, which forwards one copy to the competent authority of the consignee.
Alternatively, you can also make your wine consignment bill in the online wine service. This means that the competent authorities receive the notification at the same time as the wine product is dispatched.
