Public bodies, companies and private individuals can apply for information on business registration data.

The trade register is a list kept by the municipal administrations of the tradespeople registered in the municipality who have their registered office in the respective municipality.

Public bodies, companies and private individuals can obtain information about the business registration data collected on request. The consent of the person concerned is not required for their data to be passed on.

Business registration data:
- The name of the trader, the business address and the reported activity (basic data) can be made generally accessible.

- For further information on business registration data, you must provide evidence of a legal interest - for example, to assert legal claims or to grant credit to the trader.

The fees for the information are currently between 33 and 200 euros.

You will receive a notification of fees.

The administrative fees are set in accordance with the Act on the Levying of Administrative and User Fees in the Saarland (SaarlGebG) in conjunction with the General Fee Schedule for the Saarland (GebVerz) (here: Section 385.18).

In the event of rejection:

If an application to carry out an official act is withdrawn before it is completed, up to 75 percent of the full fee is payable, depending on the expenses already incurred (Section 9 (2) SaarlGebG).

- The responsible office will check your application for completeness and whether you have a legal interest in obtaining information on business registration data.
- If your application is approved, you will receive information about the business registration data and a fee notice.
