As a trainee, you can receive funding for block tuition at a vocational school under certain conditions.
If you are an apprentice or trainee and incur additional accommodation costs during block tuition at a vocational school, you can apply for an annual grant of up to EUR 350.00 from the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
- Completed and signed application form
- Invitation from the vocational school to the school block,
- Confirmation from the training company of the existence of a training relationship (copy of the training contract),
- Proof of actual accommodation costs incurred (can be submitted by 06.12.2024 at the latest).
You are only entitled to the subsidy if you are a trainee resident in Schleswig-Holstein and are being trained in a company in Schleswig-Holstein.
- Please print out the application from the website, fill it in and send it by post or by e-mail as a PDF to the SHIBB (SG 20).
- Documents that are already available (copy of the training contract and the invitation to the (block) school visit) must be attached, but can also be submitted later.

As a rule, you will receive your notification within four weeks of submitting your application. The grant will only be paid out once the simplified proof of use and all necessary documents (e.g. invoice for accommodation costs) have been submitted.
Antragsfrist: bis 25.11.2024
You must submit the application in writing before the start of the first block of lessons. In justified exceptional cases, you can also apply for the grant after the start of the school block. You can submit the application until 25.11.2024.
You must submit the documents to SHIBB by 06.12.2024 at the latest.
In principle, several school blocks can be funded. However, payment is made once and cannot exceed the sum of EUR 350.00.
