The school entrance examination is compulsory for all children who are due to start school. It serves to determine any medical reasons that could prevent the child from successfully attending school and usually takes place before the introductory meeting with the school management.
The doctor can recommend a leave of absence for health reasons for a period of time to be defined.
As parents, you must then submit the application for leave of absence to the responsible school authority.
The documents listed in the invitation letter to the legal guardians. These are usually
- Yellow medical check-up booklet,
- vaccination card,
- medical history form,
- if available: Glasses, medical aids.
If you are unable to attend the examination appointment, the responsible office must be informed immediately.
