Violence towards children should be reported immediately to the youth welfare office or, if there is immediate danger, to the police.

Children and young people who are victims of mistreatment, neglect or abuse urgently need protection and help. Those who are "close by" can help most effectively. They are often the only ones who can pass on information and thus initiate help processes.

If you notice signs of such things in your neighborhood, among your friends or relatives, please seek a direct conversation and let others know that you are worried or that you cannot and will not accept certain actions.

If you have the feeling that speaking directly to the legal guardians will not lead to an improvement in the child's situation, please contact the authorities immediately. Your anonymity will be preserved.
