Anyone who has the necessary expertise and whose suitability is not in doubt can be recognized as a building expert.
In every trade, there are building experts who can support the client or the building supervisory authority with technical inspections, such as structural engineers (structural engineers) or fire protection experts. They are called in if the client, architect and craftsman cannot agree on whether a job is defective. This may help to avoid a legal dispute.
Recognized building experts must pass a state examination in accordance with the building inspection regulations of the respective country.
