§ Section 12 (1) sentence 3 of the Distance Learning Protection Act (FernUSG)
No approval is required for distance learning courses that are exclusively for leisure and entertainment purposes. However, the distribution of these so-called hobby courses must be reported to the State Central Office for Distance Learning.
The contract design, advertising and information for these courses, and possibly the use of representatives, must also meet the requirements of the Distance Learning Protection Act.
