Inspection engineers for stability and fire protection carry out building inspection tasks on behalf of the lower building supervisory authorities in their specialist area. They are subject to the technical supervision of the highest building supervisory authority.
Inspection experts for the inspection of technical installations and for earthworks and foundation engineering are commissioned to carry out inspections/certifications in their specialist area under private law by the client or by third parties on their behalf. Within the scope of their duties, they are independent and not bound by instructions.
