The funding serves to educate and advise the general population on infection risks and preventive behavior in order to counteract or contain the further spread of HIV infection.

What is funded?

Grants to ensure counseling on risks and how to deal with a sexually transmitted infection as well as education on preventive behavior. Funding is available for

• Counseling services,
• prevention measures,
• Support for HIV self-help groups, outreach social work

Who is supported?

Non-profit organizations as providers of sexual health advice centres

How is funding provided?

Project funding in the form of a non-repayable grant as partial funding, usually up to 40% of eligible expenditure

The funding serves to educate and advise the general population on infection risks and preventive behavior in order to counteract or contain the further spread of HIV infection and to contribute to improving the situation of HIV-infected persons, AIDS patients, their relatives and friends.
Recipients of funding are independent non-profit organizations, insofar as they are responsible for AIDS counseling centers.
