You must notify the Chamber of Engineers M-V of the first-time provision of a service as an engineer in M-V with the M-V Chamber of Engineers in advance. Upon application the professional title "engineer" will be granted and you will be an entry is made in the "list of external service providers".

If you are established in another state or predominantly practise your profession there and therefore only travel to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to provide services temporarily and occasionally (external service provider), you may enter the "List of foreign service providers" if the conditions required by law are met and you have previously notified the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Chamber of Engineers in writing of your first activity.

You must observe the professional obligations and are to be treated as members of the Chamber of Engineers. They are entered in the "list of external service providers" registered. The Chamber of Engineers provides information about the entry in the "list of external service providers" a certificate limited to a maximum of five years. The certificate can be extended upon request.

The notification must be renewed once a year if you intend to provide services under the protected professional title "engineer" in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern during the year in question.

• Proof of professional qualification (diploma, university degree certificate, degree certificate)
• Proof of establishment in another country or of predominant professional practice there
• Information on the lawful exercise of the profession
• Proof of citizenship (identity card, passport or passport)

If you are established in another state or predominantly practise your profession there and move to the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for the temporary and occasional provision of services in accordance with § 5 ArchIngG M-V (external service providers), you may be registered in the "List of external service providers" corresponding list, you may use the professional title

1. in accordance with Section 6 (1) or (5) ArchIngG M-V under the conditions specified therein or under the conditions specified in corresponding application of Section 8 (2) ArchIngG M-V, or

1. in accordance with § 6 Paragraph 2 or 5 ArchInG M-V, if you fulfill the registration requirements in accordance with § 8 Paragraph 1 or 2 ArchIngG M-V.

§ Section 8 (3) and (4) ArchIngG M-V do not apply.

External service providers must notify the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Chamber of Engineers in advance of their first activity. They must renew the notification once a year if they intend to provide services in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern during the year in question.

Only when the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Chamber of Engineers has confirmed that you meet the registration requirements may you use the professional title "Consulting Engineer" as an external service provider.

Fee for issuing the temporary certificate: EUR 125.00

Annual fee for keeping the register: EUR 50.00
