If you would like to establish an inclusive business, you can receive funding from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Office for Health and Social Affairs - Integration Office under certain conditions.

Inclusion companies are companies that are set up for the long term. They offer severely disabled people employment and work-related support and, where necessary, also vocational training measures.

In particular, severely disabled people with mental or psychological disabilities or with severe physical, sensory or multiple disabilities are to be integrated into the primary labor market in this way.

Funding is available for the costs of equipment, expansion, modernization, business start-up consulting and special expenses of inclusive businesses.

The type and amount of funding is determined by the circumstances of the individual case. As a rule, an own contribution of 30 percent is taken as a basis. The benefits per workplace for an employee from the target group amount to up to 30,000 euros and, with regard to the total investment, up to 400,000 euros per inclusive company.

The eligibility requirements are generally met if the inclusion businesses:

• are established on a permanent basis,
• they are legally and economically independent organizations or in-house operations or departments with a
• they have a commercial purpose
• they are operated in the legal form of sole traders, partnerships or corporations,
• they are required to keep accounts in accordance with the rules of commercial and company law, and
• they report their profits and losses.
  

Inclusion businesses can also be operated on a non-profit basis.

At least 30%, but no more than 50%, of the employees must be severely disabled people from the target group.

Before submitting an application, it is advisable to seek advice at the Integration Office.

Processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable decree of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Integration and Equality in conjunction with the BIH recommendations.
