With the trainer aptitude test, you prove, among other things, that you are suitable to provide vocational training for trainees in agriculture and home economics.
As a trainer, you must prove that you have the basic pedagogical, organizational and legal knowledge required for vocational training and that you are familiar with the important training methods.
Vocational and occupational pedagogical aptitude includes the competence to independently plan, implement and monitor vocational training in the fields of activity:
- Checking training requirements and planning training,
- Preparing training and assisting in the recruitment of trainees,
- carrying out training and
- completing training.
Instructor aptitude is indispensable in in-company initial and further training and is an important additional qualification in many areas of companies. It is a component of numerous further training qualifications.
You demonstrate this aptitude in an examination. The examination consists of a written and a practical part. In the written examination, case-related tasks from the four fields of activity are completed in writing in 180 minutes. In the practical examination, a training situation typical of the profession is usually carried out in 45 minutes using the 4-step method and explained in a subsequent technical discussion.
The examination is passed if each part of the examination is assessed as at least "sufficient". A failed examination can be repeated twice within an examination procedure. One part of the examination that has been passed can be taken into account.
You should prepare well for the exam. There are numerous private providers who offer preparation courses, for example. However, this is not a legal requirement for registering for the exam.
The examinations are held on fixed dates (15.01. and 15.07.) by the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries.
