If you want to find out about water rights, water protection areas or flood areas, you can do so on the LUNG's environmental map portal. If you would like to take a closer look at a water register file, you can do so at the LUNG water register office.

If you need information on water rights, you can access the water register for the state of M-V via the LUNG's environmental map portal. Anyone can view the water register.

The water book is a central register for water rights, which contains legal relationships (rights and obligations) relating to water management as well as environmental information (e.g. water protection areas, risk areas, flood areas).

The water register office of the LUNG can help you to view documents relating to a specific water register sheet (e.g. applications, notifications, correspondence) on request.

A water register file containing the application documents is kept in the water register office for each water register sheet. These water register files can be inspected on request.

The water register sheets of the registered water management legal relationships are published in the LUNG's environmental map portal.

The inspection of a water register file can be requested informally from the water register office. If there is a legitimate interest, extracts can be produced for a fee. The interests of affected parties worthy of protection will be taken into account.

• Water log sheets can be viewed at any time in the environmental map portal.
• The processing time for viewing the water register file depends on the volume of applications (approx. 2-4 weeks).
