If you want to provide certain services in other EU countries, you need the EU certificate as proof of your professional experience for some EU countries (e.g. Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg).
If you wish to provide certain services in an EU member state or establish yourself there, you must, among other things, present the so-called EU certificate in some member states. With this certificate you prove that you provide this service in Germany legally and permanently. If you or your company are a member of a chamber (e.g. Chamber of Crafts), this chamber is responsible for you. Otherwise, please contact the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
In order to demonstrate that the services are provided on a permanent and lawful basis, you must specify the specific activity you perform and its duration. In addition to a description of the activity of the company, you must indicate whether you have been working as a self-employed person, as a manager of a company or branch, in a managerial position or as an employee.
- Copy of the identity card
- Proof of the specific activity performed and its duration
