Prostitutionstätigkeit: Verlängerung anmelden

If the prostitution activity is continued after the expiry date, the registration certificate must be extended.

If the person engaged in prostitution is under 21 years of age at the time of initial registration, the registration certificate must be renewed after one year. If the person engaged in prostitution is over 21 years of age at the time of initial registration, the registration certificate must be renewed after two years. The regulations on registration apply to the renewal of the registration certificate. The registration must be made in person.

• Proof of identity: identity card, passport, substitute passport or substitute identity card
• if you do not have German citizenship and are not entitled to freedom of movement - proof of permission to pursue employment or self-employment in Germany
• current registration certificate of residence or main residence in Germany, alternatively proof of an address for service in Germany
• if the extension of the registration is not carried out together with the repeat health consultation - certificate of a current health consultation (not older than three months)
  • for those under 21 years of age: Certificate of health consultation every 6 months
  • for over 21-year-olds: Certificate of health consultation once a year

The extension of the registration takes place in two steps.

• In the first step, the health consultation is repeated in a confidential discussion. This is a prerequisite for extending the registration.
• In the second step, the official extension of the registration certificate takes place in conjunction with an information and consultation meeting.
  • The registration authority usually issues an extension of the registration certificate immediately after the information and consultation meeting, but at the latest after five working days, provided that all the necessary information and evidence has been provided and there are no other grounds for exclusion.

On request, the health consultation and the extension of the application can be carried out in a single appointment. The consultation can be held in German and English. Interpreters are available for other languages.
