If you wish to offer distance learning courses that are exclusively for leisure or entertainment purposes, you must notify the competent authority.
No approval is required for distance learning courses that are exclusively for leisure and entertainment purposes. However, the distribution of these so-called hobby courses must be reported to the State Central Office for Distance Learning.
In the case of these so-called hobby courses, the contract design, advertising and information as well as any use of representatives must also meet the requirements of the Distance Learning Protection Act.
- No approval is required for distance learning courses that are exclusively for leisure and entertainment purposes. However, the distribution of these so-called hobby courses must be reported to the State Central Office for Distance Learning.
