If you wish to commission a direct current system or a low-frequency system with a rated voltage of 110 kilovolts, you must notify the competent authority.
If your system does not require any other official permits relating to immission control, you must notify the responsible authority of the commissioning. You have at least 2 weeks before commissioning to do this.
If you want to commission a low-frequency system with less than 110 kilovolts, you only have to submit the required documents if the competent authority requests you to do so.
- Your system crosses or lies
- on a property in the area of a development plan or
- within a built-up district or
- on a property with residential buildings in an outdoor area.
- You submit the notification with the site plan to the competent authority in writing by post or electronically by e-mail.
- The competent authority will receive your notification and check it.
- If further information is required, the authority will contact you.
There is no statutory processing period.
You must submit the notification to the responsible authority no later than 2 weeks before the system is commissioned. The notification will be processed as soon as it is received.
You must have submitted the notification to the competent authority at least two weeks before commissioning the system.
If you do not submit the notification, or do not submit it correctly, completely or on time, you are committing an administrative offense.
