Who is eligible for funding?

• Aquaculture companies based in or with a permanent establishment in Thuringia.
• Companies in the fishing industry (processing of fishery and aquaculture products) and aquaculture companies based or with a permanent establishment in Thuringia.
• Institutions conducting fisheries research. The results must serve the objectives of this directive in Thuringia and be made available to the Thuringian fishing industry.

What is funded?

The following can be funded for the processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products

• Equipment and modernization in the processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products and to increase added value,

• Establishment or expansion of regional and direct marketing, such as farm stores, mobile sales facilities, vending machines or online trading as well as the development of marketing innovations,

• measures to protect consumers, reduce the use of food additives, avoid food waste and increase food safety, for example to promote hygiene, improve shelf life, quality certification and quality promotion, and
