You can request leasing certificate information. With a free request, you can check whether the registration certificate part II (vehicle registration document) has already been received by your registration authority.

The original registration certificate Part II (vehicle registration document) must be presented for a large number of registration matters. If the registration certificate part II is not in your possession due to financing or transfer by way of security, you must arrange for the registration certificate part II to be sent to the vehicle registration office before your visit to the vehicle registration office.

• the vehicle identification number or
• the number of the registration certificate part II

You must have requested the transmission of the registration certificate part II from your lender or lessor in advance.

If you change your address within the same registration district or deregister a vehicle, you do not need the registration certificate part II.
