If you are admitted to or move into a hospital, home or similar facility, you only need to register as soon as your stay exceeds three months and you are not registered for an apartment within Germany.

If you are admitted to or move into a hospital, nursing home or other facility that serves the care of people in need of care or disabled people or home education, you are not subject to the registration obligation as long as you are registered for another residence in Germany.

If this is not the case, you must register with the registration authority as soon as your stay exceeds three months. If you are unable to register in person, this must be done by the managers of the facilities.

There are no fees.

You must be registered with the registration office within two weeks as soon as it is foreseeable that your stay will exceed three months and you are not registered for any other home in Germany.

If the leader takes over the reporting, then you will be informed.
