Mitwirkung von Kindern bei Veranstaltungen - Bewilligung

For the creative participation of children or young people in film, photo, radio and television recordings, recordings on sound and image carriers, music and other performances as well as advertising events, a permit from the competent authority is required.

Permission may be granted if

1. children over the age of six for up to four hours a day between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. for theater performances
2. for musical performances and other performances, for advertising events and for recordings on the radio (radio and television), on sound and image carriers as well as film and photo recordings
   1. Children aged three to six up to two hours a day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m,
   2. children over the age of six up to three hours a day between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. and participate in the necessary rehearsals

and participate in the required rehearsals.

The application must contain

• Name and address of the company
• Type of employment / period of employment,
• Date of birth and name of the child/children
• Reasons for the application
• Statements from the legal guardian, doctor, school, youth welfare office

The granting of an exemption permit is subject to a fee. The fees are determined in accordance with the applicable schedule of fees or costs.

A processing time of one to two weeks can generally be assumed, in individual cases even longer. The aforementioned processing time is only relevant if the declarations of the legal guardian, the doctor, the school and the youth welfare office are received by the responsible office in good time.

The employer must obtain the necessary declarations from legal guardians, the doctor, the school and the youth welfare office in good time before the planned event and attach them to the application documents.

Events not eligible for approval are Cabarets, dance halls and similar establishments as well as amusement parks, funfairs, fairs and similar events, shows or performances.

• Concerns the participation of children in:

  • Children over 6 years of age for up to 4 hours a day from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at theater performances
  • at musical and other performances, at advertising events and at recordings on radio and television, on audio and video media as well as film and photo shoots
    1. Children aged 3 to 6 up to 2 hours a day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m,
    2. children over 6 years of age up to 3 hours a day between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. and participate in the necessary rehearsals
