If you no longer wish to operate an X-ray device, you must inform the responsible radiation protection authority.

There may be various reasons why you no longer operate an X-ray system. The termination of operation may, for example, be the sale or disposal of the X-ray equipment. In any case, you must inform the competent authority for radiation protection immediately.

You want to end the operation of an X-ray system or have already done so.

The form for termination of operation must be completed in full online and sent to the radiation protection authority. Existing original permits must be sent by post to the Radiation Protection Authority.

No processing time required only receipt of the notification

Notification must be made immediately.

• Notification of the termination of the authorized or notified operation or handling Receipt
• X-ray equipment of any kind must be deregistered upon termination of operation

• Deregistration must be made in writing
