The Free State of Thuringia subsidizes rental apartments for households that cannot find adequate housing on the market. For this purpose, thefunding program according to the "Guideline for the promotion of affordable housing in the Free State of Thuringia for the program years 2023 to 2025" is available. Funding projects are selected via a program application.
The application form must be accompanied by the documents specified in point 5.2 of Annex 1 to the Guideline. These include, for example, construction drawings, living space calculations in accordance with the Living Space Ordinance (WoFlV), cost calculations in accordance with DIN 276 and construction schedules.

The Thüringer Aufbaubank accepts program applications until the end of November for the following year.
