The deviation procedure allows public bodies and private developers to deviate from the planned spatial planning with their project.
A deviation procedure is a procedure for permitting a deviation from an objective of the state development program or a regional spatial development plan in individual cases if the deviation is justifiable from a spatial planning perspective due to changed facts or findings and the main features of the state development program or the regional spatial development plan are not affected.
