The dual waste disposal system enables you to dispose of packaging materials made of plastic, paper, glass or other recyclable materials, for example.
You can dispose of sales packaging and other recyclable materials from households
- via containers (e.g. igloos for used glass or paper) and/or at recycling centers
- via the yellow bag (for cans, beverage cartons, plastic cups)
- in some districts in special recycling garbage cans
Packaging disposal is free of charge. The fees for municipal paper disposal are based on the respective municipal fee statutes.
The dual systems are responsible for packaging disposal. Information can be obtained from the administrative districts and independent cities as public waste management authorities.
