Are you subject to the obligation to provide proof of hazardous waste and need to have proof of disposal approved? If your disposal company is approved for the privileged procedure, your certificate will be valid under federal law without official confirmation.
However, you still need an allocation according to state law for the waste subject to disposal in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Disposal, i.e. recovery or disposal, including the collection and transportation of hazardous waste, is subject to a verification procedure under waste legislation. Waste producers as well as holders, transporters, collectors and disposers of hazardous waste are obliged to do so. Private households and small-scale producers who do not generate more than two tons of hazardous waste per year are exempt.
If the disposal company is approved for the privileged procedure, your certificate will be valid under federal law without official confirmation. These disposal companies are usually specialist disposal companies and have been given an exemption number for the privileged procedure.
In addition to the obligation to provide proof, Rhineland-Palatinate also has an obligation to tender most hazardous waste. The positive examination of the tender is decided in the case of evidence in the privileged procedure by an assignment of the SAM.
