The Second State Examination for Teaching Qualifications at Schools concludes the training for a teaching profession as part of the preparatory services (second training phase) after successfully completing a teaching-related course of study (first training phase) as a prerequisite.

• a partial examination in the other examination subject in the didactics and methodology of the subject or in education and teaching in the other focus of special educational support,
• a partial examination on the practical implementation of educational science aspects as well as on school law and civil service law
