As a winegrower, you must notify your competent authority of any clearing or planting of a vineyard.

If you, as a winegrower, remove or plant vines on the land, you must report this to the competent authority.

In Rhineland-Palatinate, you report a grubbing-up or planting via a change notification to the EU vineyard register.

You must have cleared and/or planted a vineyard.

You can submit the notification in person to the competent authority. Alternatively, you can send the notification to the competent authority online, by post or by fax, depending on the services offered by the competent authority. This concludes the procedure.

In Rhineland-Palatinate, you report your grubbed-up and planted vineyards together with the change report to the vineyard register.

You can make the electronic notification in the Wine Information Portal (WIP).

Application deadline: until 31.05.

The notification must be submitted by May 31st following the clearing or planting.

The notification of grubbing-up is a prerequisite for obtaining authorization potential, i.e. certain vine planting or replanting rights.

Your notification will be verified by an on-site area inspection.
