A permit for the discharge of wastewater (rainwater, wastewater, mixed water) into a surface water body and/or via infiltration into the groundwater can be revoked in Germany. An application can be submitted to the competent authority for this purpose.

The required documents (essentially justification) depend on the wastewater discharge permit to be revoked.

The water use permitted by the permit will no longer be exercised in the future.

An administrative fee must be paid to the respective federal state for the administrative service "Discharge of wastewater into bodies of water Revocation of permit". The administrative fee is based on the respective state regulations on administrative fees.

The cost of obtaining a permit ranges from €16.10 to €425.00

The processing time depends on the quality and scope of the applications and documents submitted.

An objection to the revocation may be lodged within one month of notification.
