You first apply for recognition as a training organizer at your local Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
- The IHK first checks the documents submitted, such as curricula and teaching materials.
- If necessary, representatives of the IHK will visit the training center and check its suitability on site. If necessary, assessment interviews are held with the teaching staff.
- Once the documents and training center have been checked, you will receive a notification of recognition from the IHK.
Once your training facility has been recognized, you are permitted to offer training courses for dangerous goods officers within the scope of the permit.
Depending on the documents submitted, the application should be reviewed within three weeks of receipt. An assessment interview with the teaching staff may take longer to process.
